Flush sliding systems leave a gap in the floor in the threshold when open, and while these openings do not lead to any restrictions in passing through the door or everyday use, there are two options offered available to cover the gap.
+ Automatic Sill Cover
Once the operable panel has moved to its maximum open position, the Sill Cover automatically folds up, closing the gap in the floor area and ensuring threshold-free, floor-flush and handicapped-accessible passage.
+ Sliding Sill Cover
As the operable panel opens a sill cover is pulled along with the sliding panel closing the recess in the floor area and ensuring threshold-free, floor-flush and handicapped-accessible passage. Please note, this solution requires a fixed area or sidelight to house the Sliding Sill Cover when the operable panel is in the closed position.
